If someone would have asked me this summer what I would be doing in half a year, they probably would have thought I was being ironic if I had answered; working with the most inspiring and passionate people trying to revolutionize the world by creating children’s apps aimed to prevent bullying. In fact, I just had to pinch my arm to see that I am still not dreaming.

But nope, here I am. Honored to be named Sweden’s Top 10 most Innovative Entrepreneurs this year and incredibly proud to say that I am contributing to building a better world. But I’m most grateful to have the amazing team behind Peppy Pals believing in me. You see in order to succeed, we must believe that we can; and our team is a living proof that against all odds one could achieve greatness.

I’ve always believed that you should never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do. Even though I knew Peppy Pals was looking for a candidate with a completely different background to join their team, I trusted my gut that I had to be the person they were looking for. And so, I decided to reach out to Rosie a late Sunday evening in August…

If there is a meet-cute on Gmail, or if they were to make a spin-off of the movie “You’ve got mail”, this would be it. Rosie responded to my e-mail 23 minutes after I had clicked send saying; “Can you Skype in 45 minutes?” and that’s when I knew it was a perfect match.

With the words “The sky has no limit” I became a part of the amazing team behind Peppy Pals. And yes, the sky has NO limit. I cannot find words to describe how much I’ve done or learned the past 4 months… and the best part is that it is only the beginning of the journey of my dreams.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt

Eleanor might have been the First Lady of the World, but in my eyes Rosie is the First Lady of the Startup-world. Together we will change the world.
